 Allu Arjun, also known as (Bunny, Stylish Star ) was born on 8 April 1983 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Allu Arjun parents were film producer Allu Aravind and Geetha. Coming from a family long associated with Telugu cinema, Allu Arjun is the randson of legendary Telugu comedian Padmasri awardee late Allu Ramalingaiah whilst other notable relatives include uncles Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, and cousin Ram Charan Teja.Allu Arjun married Sneha Reddy on March 6, 2011. Allu Arjun is the first and only Tollywood hero till date to sport a six pack.. His height 5' 9"Allu Arjun first entrance to film industry in the film daddy(2002), by guest appearance as Gopi...Allu Arjun's first lead role was in Gangotri (2003), directed by K.Raghavendra Rao which only did moderate business despite well received music, composed by MM Keeravani.. Allu Arjun second role was in Arya( 2004), which became Allu Arjun first success at the box office. This film was produced by Dil Raju and directed by Sukumar. Music composed by Devisri Prasad became highly successful and contributed to the success of the film. Allu Arjun third role was in Bunny (2005), and won Santosham Best Young Performers Award. Allu Arjun fourth film Happy(2006), which was directed by Karunakaran, had an average opening at Box Office but later became a failure. The film did, however, manage to make a decent profit in the U.S. Allu Arjun's fifth film, Desamuduru(2007), which was directed by Puri Jagannadh, proved to be a box office hit and the first hit of the year in Tollywood. This movie grossed 12.58 crores in the first week of its release and with this movie, Allu Arjun became the first Tollywood hero to sport a six pack. In the same year, Allu Arjun also made a guest appearance in his uncle Chiranjeevi's film, Shankar Dada Zindabad. His sixth film Parugu(2008), which was directed by Bhaskar, and won film fare award and nandi jury award. Allu Arjun's seventh film Aary 2(2009), which had the same story line of the 2004 hit film Arya, which also starred Allu Arjun in the lead role. The film was directed by Sukumar who directed the first film. Kajal Agarwal, Navdeep, and Shraddha Das co-star with Arjun in Arya 2. Though released during political crisis, the movie was able to earn 33 crores at the box-office. Despite mixed reviews in the beginning, the film was accepted as a critical success and it featured in the nominations of the Best Movie category in every major awards function in the Telugu Film industry. Allu Arjun then appeared in Varudu (2010), which was directed by Gunasekhar, It was panned by critics and even commercially, the movie's collections fell off sharply after a great beginning at the box office. Allu Arjun next acted in Vedam (2010) with Manoj Kumar Manchu and Anushka Shetty, directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi (known for Gamyam). Vedam was critically praised and well received by the general audience. Geetha Arts, the production banner owned by his father Allu Aravind, is producing a mega budget movie titled Badhrinaadh. It is being directed by V V Vinayak and will star Arjun along with Tamannaah Bhatia in female lead role Prakash Raj in a sage role.. The estimated budget of the movie is 41 crores. The shooting of the movie began in July 2010[8] & the film is set to release on May 26 2011. Allu Arjun is also a well known star in Kerala. All of Allu Arjun's movies except Gangotri were dubbed into Malayalam. Desamudrudu was renamed to Hero and Parugu was renamed to Krishna when dubbed.
